did you ever see the Simpson's episode where Lisa decides she is a Buddhist and the rest of the family tries to change her mind? Marge makes a batch of cookies and then throws them out when Lisa walks in saying "Buddhists don't celebrate Christmas so they don't get Christmas cookies" or something to that effect. Bart sees the cookies in the trash and goes "Alright! Trash cookies!!! Uh oh, I think I ate a dog food lid."
I can't help but think of that episode every time someone makes Christmas cookies.
