I gotta tell you. Every year at Christmas, one guy on the block puts up a big old "OU" on his roof. You can see it all the way down the street. THIS year, his next door neighbor lit a big "TT" on HIS roof, while the "OU" was on the neighbor's roof.
I laughed so hard. I could only just imagine the conversations they've had!

yeah, SC totally should win... and honestly, i want them too, not only because it's good for ye olde pac 10, but they really are that good. you just can't hate a team with good kids. good, talented kids.
although, their fight song drives me gunnybag. that combined with "they eyes of texas are upon you..." no way i could be there hearing that. no way.
daaaang. game just ended. vince young is unreal. i am truly stunned. i can not believe i'm about to say this...

Yeah, what's up with SC's linebackers? They knew what play was coming - young scramble - then acted shocked every time. They were tripping over each other.

I kept yelling at the screen for the linebackers to stop dropping back. BLITZ!
and it was just so intriguing to watch... i mean... he rushed for what was it? 190 yards or something? and it never even looked like he put his wheels on. i kept wondering out loud to the mister, "what will happen if he actually runs with the ball. a good running back celebrates a hundred yard game. like promises the offensive line a steak dinner if he hits it. when does a quarterback get 190 in a game? he is the first ncaa qb to get 1000 rushing yards and 2500 yards in the air.
it will be interesting to see what houston does with the pick. they have a young qb already, but man, houston is youngs hometown. should be fun to see how it plays out.
okay... rebecca is totally going to make fun of me for all of this... i mean, you know, more than she already has.

The Texans need some decent offensive linemen more than anything else. They need to trade the pick, get more picks in return, get some promising young linemen, and sign a running back in free agency. Plus, Domanick Davis is pretty damn good. They ought to keep him around too.
all this football talk makes a girl thankful for makeup and nail polish and I usually don't care about those things. :)
I'm back!!! Puerto Rico was great. I shot and trapped monkies, fought chickens and yelled at hippies from the states. It was great. Got to see my Buckeyes, and Mountain Men kick butt, but it was a sad loss for my Noles! Happy New Year. I will be updating my blog with exploits in Puerto Rico soon!
Must be a long 2 weeks for yah!!
