up a notch on the lame-o-meter
Member when I said "hooray for the dukes?"
Well, I meant it. Movie of the year (okay, maybe of the summer)! It was comprised of awesome.
I had seriously got my money out of the deal before the opening credits.
So now, with out shame, I again shout out;
arrivederci, rebecca marie

17 flattering compliments:
As always you have inspired me to spread my wings and....stare at Jessica Simpson in short shorts(who wears short shorts?).
How could i possible pay for the broadening of my horizons (hey, i promise i wasn't intending on sexual inuindos. you dirty birds)
and when i said "how could i possibly pay" what i meant was "how could i possibly RE pay you"
just to be clear.
maybe i'll go see that . . .
I to want to see Dukes and Must love dogs. I would pay full price to see both movies. My problem is getting someone to watch 3 of my 4 kids. Maybe even all 4 if I plan it right and nurse him before the show and then who ever babysits can feed him baby food.
But I am rambling now. Gabe and I love going to the movies but it is not easy finding a sitter for us to go out on a date.
then call me lame-o!
I just can't bring myself to pay full theatre price to see this movie. I'm sorry. I'll have to wait for the DVD.
Scrapping Dani, I saw Must Love Dogs. It was alright, but not mind-blowing. :)
So, Rebecca Marie, should a Not Jessica Simpson Fan absolutely watch Dukes, no questions asked?
sarah - i couldn't be less of a jessica fan. i would go as far as to say i dislike her entirely, and she was just fine. the language went farther than it needed to go, but it was really just so much fun.
I can't.
I really just can't.
can i?
i promise that you in fact, can.
I know that you don't know me, but I'm pfcpeters wife, emily. And, honestly I can't bring myself to watch Dukes of Hazard in the Theater. WIth Jessica Simpson in short shorts (and that dirty music video she has) to whatever his name is off of Jack Ass and the fact that it is a re-make of a 70's t.v. show... but, I could be wrong and it might be an awesome movie. Check me out on my website sometime.
I loved that show when I was a kid. And knight Rider and the A-Team. THey don;t make quality programming like that anymore....
you're right cody . . . they don't
i heard that the cops from super troopers are on this flick too . . . that's why i'd go see it!!
they are! the main guy, i forget his name, directed it... they guy that was coaching his sons team in super troupers. they play these ridiculous campus cops. v. v. funny.
I have to honestly say that I wasn't and still am not a Dukes fan. I actually thought the show was a little boring. I mean, how many axle-breaking jumps do the have to go over in the General Lee before people realize that the car would just shatter? I wonder what the total number of cars they went through is.
I have to agree with Cody though, I loved Night Rider. And don't forget Air Wolf or McGyver.
Dude, someone else that remembers Air Wolf! I loved that show! My t-ball team was the Airwolves.
JW: Airwolf is out on DVD. I freakin' LOVED that show, and I'm going to be re-living the adventure as soon as I get home tonight!
