post employment celebration party

To celebrate my new found redundancy, I took my dad and my sister to see a movie.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I implore you. Go out, see it. Today.

Batman Begins is comprised of awesome.

This is one girl who agrees with you one zillion percent. I saw Batman Begins yesterday, thinking that it was only going to be worth watching because of the HUNKIEST MOST GORGEOUS BIG SCREEN MAN OF THE WHOLE WORLD Christian Bale. but, lo and behold (what does that even mean?) it was a phenomenal movie! SOOOOOO well done. I loved the psychological parts of it, and the scene with his shirt off (hey, just cause i'm married doesn't mean i can't appreciate the male form...what's that whole "look at the menu but don't order the food" line?)

anyways, it was quite worth seeing on the big screen.

RM- did you find yourself as annoyed as I did by Katie Holmes' teeth?

ha ha ha. breanna, your comment made me SMILE. not only do i find christian bale only average, but i actually leaned over to janni during the movie and commented on how glad i was that she has never had her teeth straightened because her crooked mouth adds to her appeal! she aggreed, then we commented on how fabulous it is that reece witherspoon and kate winslet have opted against teeth whitening. fabulous because they look like real people.

but the story! WOW!!! i was NOT expecting such a REAL movie. two days later and i'm still not off the high.

ryan, anytime you'd like some of my high art for your bloggety blog, just let me know... i'll see what i can whoop up. there now, you can stop being mad.

Well, I'm just going to wait for the dvd to come out like I always do. Unless you wanna fly down and babysit. *beseeching look*

i am basically in love with katie holmes. has anyone else seen "pieces of april"?

loved it!

(p.s. i will admit there was a 3 month period of my life where i was addicted to watching reruns of dawson's creek on cable tv because i was enthralled with katie holmes).

DOOOOD!! I saw an interview with Christian Bale and he was talking about the costume. Said the suit was just hot and sweaty, but that the helmet gave him a splitting headache. BUT~ He said he figured that ol' Batman probably had a splitting headache all the time from all that was going on in his head, so he used the pain to help with his acting.

For some reason, I LOVE that. Not only is he a rockin Batman, he's no sissy.

(saw it again sunday btw....)
